There are two parts to your GoArmyEd account that you must complete in order for your ROTC scholarship to be successfully paid.
First you must complete your “Cadet Planning Record”. This is the outline of all the classes that you need to take according to your degree audit, and your academic advisor in order to graduate with your chosen degree. An online step by step guide to submitting a cadet planing record can be found at the following link: Cadet Planning Record. A easy to use download option is available here: Step by Step Instructions for Cadet Planning Record
Second, once your Cadet Planning Record has been completed and submitted, you must then go back into your profile and submit your “Cadet Payment Request”. Simply put, this is where you tell the GoArmyEd website where you want your scholarship money (your tuition) applied. Timely and accurate completion of the Cadet Payment Request is critical in ensuring that you are not stuck with a tuition bill from Ohio State University for the current term. You can find a detailed step by step set of instructions for completing the Cadet Payment Request at the following link: Cadet Payment Request. A easy to use download option is available here: Step by Step Instructions for Cadet Payment Request
If you have additional questions or are unsure what steps you need to take next, you can review a much more comprehensive list of help topics from US Army Cadet Command at the following page: USACC – GoArmy Ed Help Site. When reviewing the help topics on this page, be sure to scroll down to the “Cadet/Student” section for topics relevant to ROTC.
