Opportunities for Students in AROTC

  • 4-, 3- and 2-year merit based scholarships that can cover the cost of tuition, books, room & board and give a monthly stipend of $420/month

Scholarship General Eligibility

  • US Citizen
  • Between 17 and 27 years old
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • No moral obligations or convictions to prevent: Supporting & defending the US Constitution and Conscientiously bearing arms
  • Satisfactory explanation of any arrest and or civil conviction

Basic Course (Freshmen and Sophomore Level)

  • No Service Obligation
  • Education that will benefit you in school, civilian occupation and/or military…i.e.-Leadership, Time Management, and Organizing Tasks
  • Opportunities to participate in local & national events, field & adventure training

Advanced Course (Junior and Senior Level Course)

  • Committed to joining the Army as a Commissioned Officer upon graduation
  • Attend a Leader’s Assessment Course in the Summer before the senior year
  • Plan and conduct training for subordinate cadets
