CPT Jada Henry

Captain Jada Henry was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. She attended George Mason University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve in 2018. 

CPT Henry completed the Adjutant General Basic Officer Leadership Course in November 2019 and received her Area of Concentration, 42B. She was assigned to the 733RD Transportation Company as a Platoon Leader. Additionally, CPT Henry was the Primary Equal Opportunity Leader for her company.

After successfully serving as a Platoon Leader for 12 months, CPT Henry served as the 978TH Quartermaster Company Executive Officer. She was promoted to First Lieutenant on 25 NOV 19 shortly after she began serving on active-duty orders on 1 October 2019 in support of the unit’s Command and Control Chemical Response (C2CRE) mission. Her additional duties included S1 OIC, and TC-AIMS II Company Operations. Additionally, CPT Henry completed AG CCC and received her Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed from George Mason University in May 2022.
 

CPT Henry served as the Aide-De-Camp of the 352d Civil Affairs Command for BG James P. Sanders from August 2021 until May 2023. CPT Henry attended the Basic Airborne Course and earned a foreign jump badge. She was also certified for the aPHR through the AG school house credentialing program. CPT Henry was selected for the assignment of Assistant Executive Officer to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director for Resources, Installations, and Materiel (DRIM) at the Senior Executive Service (SES), 2-star equivalent, Office of the Chief Army Reserve (OCAR). During this assignment, she was certified for the PHR through the AG school house credentialing program in AUG24 and completed the Civil Affairs CCC in SEP24.

CPT Henry was assessed into the AGR program on 30SEP25 as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at The Ohio State University.

CPT Henry is an avid runner and has completed several 5k, 10k, and half marathon races. She is married to CPT Bobby Henry Jr. and has one son, Bobby Henry III. 

CPT Henry’s awards and decorations include National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Certificate of Achievement (2), Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3), Foreign Parachutist Badge, and Army Staff Identification Badge.
